Position in Spanish Language and Culture
Applications are invited for the following position in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature (FLLD) at Tunghai University, Taichung, Taiwan.
Assistant Professor or above in Spanish Language and Culture. The position is effective as early as 1 August 2025. Applicants should have native or near-native competence in Spanish and a PhD in Spanish, Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language or Spanish Literature/Cultural Studies. Additional expertise in Digital Humanities, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Application, or Educational Technology is desirable. Teaching load will consist of minimum nine credit hours per semester. A commitment to teaching and functioning in a Chinese cultural environment is essential. Evidence of scholarly potential is required.
