Position in French Language and Culture
Applications are invited for the following position in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature at Tunghai University, Taichung, Taiwan: Assistant Professor or above in French language and culture.
The tenure-track position is effective as early as 1 February 2024. Applicants should have native or near-native competence in French, competence in English, and a PhD in French, Teaching French as a Foreign Language, Applied Linguistics, French Literature/Cultural Studies, or related fields. Additional expertise in Digital Humanities, AI technology, or Comparative Linguistics/Literature is desirable. Teaching load will consist of minimum nine hours per semester. A commitment to teaching and functioning in a Chinese cultural environment is essential. Evidence of scholarship/research is required (e.g., research agenda and/or formal publications).
